This division is tasked with handling the lower cost, turnkey projects at I.T. by Design. At I.T. by Design we do not try to turn small needs into larger ones. If all an organization needs is a smaller solution, we are organized to provide that service as well. It makes a lot of sense to start with a new vendor and a smaller project. With a lower-risk investment you can judge the quality of the work performed first hand. And you can get visible value for your first investment that makes getting funding and permission for a second project easier. Also, you can judge whether we are a good organizational fit for project work. There are several examples of the types of quick-turnaround work we do under this division.

Public Web Sites
For when a client needs to to revamp their website or create their first ever web presence, we have a very affordable solution for your custom web site. Why buy a package that creates a canned site that looks like everyone else’s? For about the same cost you can have a graphic designer meet with you and design a site unique to your business. No two of our sites look the same, and that is on purpose.

Quick Apps
Custom software is often the best way to automate your unique business processes and data tracking needs. But custom software does take an investment of time and money on the part of the client. Organizations that are short of either of these assets can choose to have a Quick App built. The way this process works is first we meet with you to determine your application needs. Then we design a best-practices normalized database to store your data in an optimal format. After this step is complete, we come back to complete a Quick App Order (a checklist of options for your new software). We then automatically generate your application based on your custom-designed database and your selections on the Quick App Order, and you have working software within a matter of weeks from signing a proposal instead of months, and at a fraction of the cost.

The software we create for you is not truly custom in that it is generated code, but the database upon which the software is based is custom to your needs and processes. And you have the ability to select for a standard list of styles, screen types, and menu systems. This solution is the best of both worlds for some customers — a custom database to meet your needs accompanied by a generated web application that allows the entry, searching, reading, and reporting of all the data in the system. If you need customizations to your Quick App, we can do that too.

Content Management Systems
Do you need a web site that has constantly changing content? Do you want to be able to edit your pages without return to your I.T. vendor for help? Then you need a Content Management System (CMS). We actually have different CMS options unlike some other vendors that are locked into a single product that they resell. We have very lightweight and affordable CMS options for basic page editing and advanced CMS options for added features. Whatever your need for content management, we have the system that is the right size to fit your needs without the cost being prohibitive.
