I.T. by Design Developer Gains RFID+ Certification

We are excited to have one of our software developers, Chad Kruszynsky, achieve this certification. This puts an official stamp on his expertise in the design and implementation of RFID solutions.

According to research commissioned by Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), adoption of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology is on the verge of explosive growth in 2006 and beyond. The new certification aims to address the needs of RFID hardware and software manufacturers, value added resellers, training developers, and end-users of the technology. It was developed with the contributions of more than 20 organisations in the global RFID industry. CompTIA says that among the skills the certification exam will test are installation, configuration and maintenance of RFID hardware and device software; site surveys and site analysis; and tag selection, placement and testing.
