Return to the Divisions Page
This division of our company serves dual roles. First, we provide training to knowledge workers, software developers, and network administrators. Our primary training avenue is through classes offered by LSU’s Division of Continuing Education (www.outreach.lsu.edu). We also provide learning solutions to clients that are custom to the issue at hand. Included in this experience is the creation of custom-developed learning portals. We can also leverage portal software such as Microsoft SharePoint, PHP Nuke, or DotNetNuke to create a learning environment for your organization.
Our flagship products in this division include Learning Management Software and Succession Planning Software systems that allow you to track employees (or customers/students if you are a training organization or educational institution). Capabilities of our systems include the following:
- Manage users, roles, courses, instructors, facilities, and generate reports
- Auto-enrollment (enrolling Students in courses when required according to predefined criteria, such as job title or work location)
- Manager enrollment and approval
- Definitions for prerequisites or equivalencies
- Integration with performance tracking and HR management systems

We are utilizing the Moodle (www.Moodle.org) open source platform as the basis of our learning management product offering. We chose to base our learning automation services on the Moodle platform because of the widespread use and maturity of the software. Here are some basic statistics from registered instances of Moodle, which do not account for unregistered usage.

- Number of countries = 199

- Users = 24,048,470
