I.T. by Design adds Support for Mobile Devices

I.T. by Design has added support for mobile devices, especially those without Flash capability such as the mobile versions of Internet Explorer and the Apple iPhone and iPodTouch, to its website.

As mobile devices’ diaspora into the public’s demand grows ever more widespread, software companies must realize the need to create their applications with the flexibility to scale across a myriad of devices. ITBD has already done this before and we’ll continue to do it as our clients’ needs demand. Because we’re so familiar with this mentality, we decided to show it off on our site.

Developer Aaron Jandle says that until Adobe creates Flash players for these mobile devices, some web accessibility will be limited for mobile owners, despite widespread market saturation of these devices. “ITBD wants its clients, its partners, and the public to be able to fully experience web sites, no matter what device they might be using, a PC, or even a phone.”

Designer isral Duke enjoyed the visual aspect of creating an experience for mobile users. “The challenge was to arrange the content for small screens, where information visual estate is already at a premium cost per square pixel. We made the decision to break some design ‘rules’ for the sake our users comprehension.”
